Julien Vermote aka. Jule
Julien's biography
Julien, a selfless teammate, got in 2015 to make his Tour de France debut and race up the Alpe d’Huez, same climb he visited as a child together with his father and brother: “Riding the Tour years later after I’ve been there as a supporter was incredible. I had a once in a lifetime feeling on Alpe d’Huez, especially as it was the last climb of the race. I sill suffered, but it was the pleasant kind of suffering. This will go down as one of my best memories in cycling.”
Julien, who loves fashion and dresses with great style and self-confidence, is a linchpin of the team even though he is still young, and is definitely one to invest in for the future. Born in Kortrijk, he has breathed the air of the classics since he was small. His childhood dream? To win the E3 Prijs Harelbeke, the race held in his hometown.
