Tony's biography

Tony Martin is a time trial legend (with three rainbow jerseys in his trophy room), but also a rider who proved that is capable to score memorable victories on the road thanks to audacious attacks that left his opponents unable to follow him. Last season, he fulfilled one of his biggest dreams, that of wearing the yellow jersey in the Tour de France, which he took after winning stage four in Cambrai, despite having a mechanical on one of the last cobbled sectors of the north. Having already an impressive palmares, Tony still wants to add more victories in 2016, a season in which he is determined to show that he remains the best time trialist in the peloton: “For next year I want more wins than in 2015, and also to regain the rainbow jersey. I hope to have a good start in the spring and continue like this all year long, with the Tour de France and the World Championships as my top goals.”
