Tom Boonen – protagonist of the new Lidl campaign

Starting with Omloop Het Nieuwsblad – the opening race of the Classics season – fans will be invited to squeeze as much orange juice as possible on a special bike.

Recently, Lidl – one of our team's sponsors – designed a unique bicycle connected to an orange juice extractor, and seven-time Monument winner Tom Boonen already got the chance to try this extractor. Now, with the Classics season just around the corner, Lidl will provide every cycling fan the opportunity to take up to this challenge and find out how much juice they can squeeze in one kilometer.

So, if you want to have fun and see if you can beat Boonen and squeeze more juice than he did while simulating the final kilometer of the iconic Ronde van Vlaanderen, make sure you come at the Lidl stand in Ghent on Saturday, from 9:30, and try your hand. No matter how much juice you'll make during your effort, you'll be a winner and leave for home with a unique bottle.

If, by any reason, you can't be present at the Omloop Het Nieuwsblad rendez-vous, don't worry, as Lidl will continue with this campaign at seven more one-day races of the 2016 season: Dwars door Vlaanderen (23 March), Gent-Wevelgem (27 March), Ronde van Vlaanderen (3 April), Scheldeprijs (6 April), Brabantse Pijl (13 April), Flèche Wallonne (20 April) and Liège–Bastogne–Liège (24 April).
